A Very Good Year in Review

Every year around this time we take some time to look back over our shoulders to consider some of the things we accomplished during the year. 2018 was a good one!

This past year we added in-house 3D printing to complement our digital intra-oral scanners. With this cool new tech, to make a model of your smile and your bite we do a simple scan to create a detailed digital map of your teeth. Then, we use that digital model with our 3D printer to make a model of your teeth or create retainers and other orthodontic appliances. We’ve always had a top-notch lab tech in our office, but adding the 3D printer means patients can get their retainers or other orthodontic appliances faster than ever…all without any messy, goopy impressions of their mouths.

We have continuously worked to shorten treatment times so our patients can spend more time smiling and less time in braces. Plus, we’ve introduced new tools that make it possible to lengthen the time between appointments, so kids miss less school and adults don’t have to miss work once a month to have an office visit. But don’t worry – we still pack a lot of fun into every appointment.

We had a fifth team member hit her diamond anniversary in 2018. You can read all about it here. There’s really no way to adequately express how awesome it is to have such an amazing, committed team.

Sarver Orthodontics continued to donate free treatment to kids who couldn’t otherwise afford it through our participation in Smile for a Lifetime. Every one of the kids we’ve treated has been a blessing to us and we know they’re out in the community paying it forward. What an honor to be a part of this great national movement.

As we move into 2019, we hope you know we’ll be thinking of you…and all the ways we can make you smile in the new year.
